Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical sales teams across North America to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers related to data lifecycle management.
- Share your expertise in data analytics to support technical relationships with customers, including advocacy, bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering with product management to prioritize solutions that drive adoption of blithequark's cloud offerings.
- Conduct comprehensive technical discovery to identify business and technical requirements, and architect client solutions that meet those requirements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales messaging that highlights the value proposition of blithequark's cloud solutions, using a range of techniques including whiteboards, presentations, product demonstrations, whitepapers, and RFI responses.
- Interlock with Product Management to influence the product roadmap through thought leadership, customer feedback, and triaging blockers to workload migrations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Proven experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders, presenting complex technical information in a clear and compelling way.
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies or concepts, including analytics warehousing, data processing, data transformation, data governance, data migrations, ETL, ELT, SQL, NoSQL, performance or scalability optimizations, or batch versus streaming.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical sales or consulting in cloud computing, data analytics, or Big Data.
- Proven expertise in architecture design, implementing, tuning, schema design, and query optimization of scalable and distributed systems.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, including infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data, as well as the cloud market, competitive dynamics, and customer buying behavior.
- Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch/real-time event processing, streaming, data processing (ETL/ELT), data migrations, data visualization tools, and data governance on cloud native architectures.
- Strong understanding of customer requirements, with the ability to break down complex requirements and design technical architectures that meet those needs.

Compensation and Benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and are designed to be competitive and fair. In addition to base salary, you'll be eligible for a range of benefits, including:
