About the Role
The Station Services Specialist is a vital member of our Ground Operations team, responsible for providing administrative support and driving operational excellence at our St. Louis station. As a key resource for our leadership and employees, you'll assist with personnel functions, record maintenance, and identify opportunities to improve station performance and processes. Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly service to internal and external customers, maintaining positive relationships and resolving discrepancies or procedural problems in a timely manner.
 - Serve as a primary reference source for Leadership and Employees, responding to technical administrative questions and ensuring necessary follow-up is performed.
 - Oversee and apply staffing, salary, attendance, and leave processes at the Station level, including leave tracking, roster management, and bid management, in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and labor agreements.
 - Author and distribute station communication, Customer inquiry and complaint responses, Leadership meeting minutes, and other documents as needed.
 - Identify areas to improve operational performance and business processes through operational insights, future needs, and root cause analysis.
 - Maintain and archive historical records, documenting changes and revisions to materials such as memos, project files, presentations, and spreadsheets.
 - Prepare references for users by writing operating instructions, memos, meeting minutes, and other documents.
 - Maintain the integrity of confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company and personal information.
 - Perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders.
 
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
 - 2 years of relevant work experience.
 - Strong written communication ability.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
 - Ability to deliver high-quality results as an individual or team member, even under tight time constraints and competing priorities.
 - Self-motivation and ability to complete non-routine tasks without direction.
 - Good judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.
 - Understanding of influencing strategies and ability to analyze problems, weigh alternatives, and propose solutions.
