Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Specialist to join our Customer Care team. As a Senior Specialist, you'll work independently with customers over the phone, addressing their financial account inquiries, and providing personalized support. You'll be responsible for identifying customer needs, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service. Our next training class is scheduled to commence on Monday, February 19, 2024, and we'll provide comprehensive, paid training to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Work independently with customers over the phone to address their financial account inquiries, including billing, payments, account maintenance, and online banking assistance.
- Identify customer needs and move them towards the appropriate action using your knowledge, experience, and available resources.
- Monitor customer reactions and check for understanding when working with customers and co-workers.
- Make decisions quickly by using available resources, seeking input, and considering short and long-term implications.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 12 months of direct customer service experience or sales experience.
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate the internet and utilize multiple computer systems.
- A quiet, dedicated workspace with minimal distractions if working remotely from home.
- A fast and reliable internet connection if working remotely from home.
- Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
- A positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Branch experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Previous experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment.
