**Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Clinical Data Science**

**Job Responsibilities**
As a Data Scientist – RWE, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, actionable insights from real-world data to support biopharmaceutical RWE and medical trial requests. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and executing advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to investigate RWE/RWD and identify new insights about patient populations and treatment outcomes
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute results research studies and ensure high-quality, interpretable deliverables
* Building dashboards, analytics, and reports for internal and external consumption
* Conducting due diligence on new real-world data companies and performing RWD quality assessments to inform investment decisions
* Partnering with other members of the Walgreens Clinical Trial group to provide actionable insights from real-world, medical, and other data assets
* Supporting the development of real-world data, analytics, and platform capabilities using advanced analytics and tools
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree or graduate degree in a quantitative or computational field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics, biostatistics)
* Minimum 4 years of experience in a quantitative or computational role, with a strong focus on data analysis and statistical modeling
* Proficiency in R, Python, or SQL programming languages
* Experience designing and executing strong and reproducible statistical analyses in the context of epidemiology and observational studies with healthcare data
* Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, classification and discrimination, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis
* Experience processing large datasets from diverse data sources
* Experience working with covered patient health data
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Ph.D. or Master's degree in a field such as statistics, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field
* Expertise in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims databases
* Knowledge of medical data standards, clinical terminologies, and managed vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
* Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for real-world evidence research or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
* Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods of medical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology systems and/or solutions
* Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics
* Understanding of data and systems learning techniques, ability to maintain self-learning of technical and non-technical skills
