About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the eyes and ears for our team, fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond to varying questions, issues, and concerns. You will work in a collaborative and engaging environment, interacting with people from all walks of life, and no two days will be the same. This position will be based in the Bristol, TN area, and hires must reside within a 50-mile radius of Bristol, TN.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and carefully respond to all customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide excellent customer service through active listening, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed and resolved promptly
- Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively, maintaining the highest level of data security and integrity
- Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and customer-focused
- Appropriately communicate with customers, providing clear and concise information, and ensuring that their needs are met
- Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues, using effective conflict resolution skills and techniques
- Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that complex issues are addressed and resolved promptly
- Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Provide feedback on call issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes and procedures
Essential Qualifications
- Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a strong focus on self-motivation, discipline, and time management
- 6 months of customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Over 18 years of age, with a high school graduate or GED equivalent
- Ability to type 25 wpm, with excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide effective solutions
- Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Experience working in a virtual team environment, with a strong understanding of remote work principles and practices
- Proficiency in multiple software applications, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems and helpdesk software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
Work from Home Requirements
To work from home as a Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Internet Connection Requirements: Minimum subscribed download rate equal to or exceeds 12.0 Mbps, minimum subscribed upload rate equal to or exceeds 3.0 Mbps, ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 50ms
- Proof of internet speed required, with a reliable and stable internet connection
