Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer III – Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud DevOps Engineering team. As a subject matter expert, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure services for our telematic infrastructure in the North American region. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, debug codebases, and adapt new technologies, tools, and processes as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services (e.g., IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, APIGW)
 - Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases to ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems
 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt new technologies, tools, and processes
 - Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
 - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Argo CD, or other tools
 - Evaluate new technology alternatives and vendor products
 - Participate in system troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms
 
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
 - 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, DevOps, or a related field
 - Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, APIGW)
 - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash/Shell, Python)
 - Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform)
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and serverless computing
 - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
 - Experience with source control and continuous integration tools (e.g., GitLab, GitHub)
 - Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
 - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., DataDog, Splunk)
