Key Responsibilities
- Engage with patients through online web chat and respond to patient messages via the CRM platform, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
 - Perform a range of clerical and customer service functions to meet the needs of patients, healthcare providers, and the organization, ensuring seamless interactions and resolutions.
 - Research and respond to a high volume of patient inquiries related to billing questions, insurance coverage, and other account-related matters, providing accurate and helpful information.
 - Negotiate payment plans on patient account balances, demonstrating empathy and understanding while adhering to financial policies and guidelines.
 - Communicate hospital financial policies to patients, identifying those who may require financial assistance and guiding them through available options.

 - Work effectively in a computer-intensive environment, utilizing multiple monitors and systems simultaneously, with a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
 - Adhere to production standards and quality metrics set for the department and clients, ensuring high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
 - Handle medical records with accuracy and confidentiality, complying with HIPAA, Federal, State, and company requirements to maintain patient privacy and data security.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
 - A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare collections, billing, insurance, or related customer service roles.
 - Preferred experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers (HMO, PPO), with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
 - Certifications such as CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate), CPAR (Certified Patient Account Representative), or CFC (Certified Financial Counselor) are preferred, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
