Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Deployment Specialist to join our team on a full-time remote basis with opportunities for national travel. As a Software Deployment Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the implementation of our MiTek Software Suite for existing and new MiTek accounts, as well as startups. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless software deployment, training clients on the effective use of our software, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and increased product sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Needs Analysis of clients' existing software and business processes to tailor the MiTek Software Suite to their specific needs.
  • Install, configure, and deploy the MiTek Software Suite/Sapphire Supply at client sites.
  • Develop customized training programs and train clients on the use of the MiTek Software Suite/Supply.
  • Communicate with Product Management regarding any software issues or enhancements required.
  • Provide software demonstrations to prospective customers, adapting presentations to meet their specific needs.
  • Regularly update clients and MiTek Sales on the progress of software conversions.
  • Identify business processes for sales, estimating, design, production, and delivery, and recommend appropriate computer hardware upgrades.
  • Perform material take-offs from plan sets and support clients until the conversion process is complete.
  • Develop expertise in presenting the MiTek Software Suite and adapt presentations to meet client needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • 4+ years of related experience in the Building Component Industry.
  • Associates Degree in building software, computer information, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Willingness to travel nationally up to 70%.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues or devise alternative solutions.
  • Clear understanding of Truss plant operations and management needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the estimated pay range for this position is between $77,000 and $108,000 per year. The base pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role is primarily performed in an office environment with the use of a computer, telephone, and other office equipment. Occasionally, the role may require accessing areas within the building undergoing renovations, which may contain jobsite hazards. The position may also involve pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, and moving up to 25 lbs.
