Job Overview
As a Senior Systems Engineer - Enterprise Infrastructure Automation & Monitoring, you will be responsible for providing thought leadership and strategic direction to evolve Kontoor Brands' global IT technical landscape. This role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure automation, cloud computing, and IT operations, as well as excellent coding skills and experience with DevOps practices. You will be responsible for analyzing complex IT processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing automation strategies to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement infrastructure automation solutions using tools like IPSoft Amelia, Red Hat Ansible, OpenShift, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Broadcom-CA Automic.
 - Analyze existing IT processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and develop automation strategies to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
 - Write scripts and develop code using programming languages like Python, PowerShell, Golang, JavaScript, YAML, JSON, Ruby, Apache Camel, or Bash to automate routine tasks, data processing, and system integration across multi-cloud infrastructure.
 - Utilize orchestration and configuration management tools to automate the provisioning, installation, configuration, and management of IT infrastructure and application components.
 - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other infrastructure team members on IaC automation, DevOps, and CI/CD cultural transformation.
 - Develop and maintain automated infrastructure test development lifecycle for IaC platforms, tools, and solutions.
 - Ensure high availability and performance of global SAP technical landscape through proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
 
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development/Engineering, Infrastructure Technology Automation/Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
 - 12+ years of progressive experience in Enterprise IT, encompassing a wide range of skill sets, roles, and industry verticals, including large-scale global IT operations, coding, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
 - Experience with infrastructure automation tools like IPSoft Amelia, Red Hat Ansible, OpenShift, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Broadcom-CA Automic.
 - Strong coding skills in programming languages like Python, PowerShell, Golang, JavaScript, YAML, JSON, Ruby, Apache Camel, or Bash.
 - Experience with cloud computing platforms like Azure, GCP, and AWS, including public and private cloud infrastructure.
 - Knowledge of DevOps/CICD practices, software development, infrastructure code automation/development, and IT governance/control processes.

- Experience with Platform-as-a-Service and Software as a Service capabilities, including core infrastructure, physical and virtual machines, network/network security, load balancers, and infrastructure applications/platforms.
 - Knowledge of IT service management and IT governance/control processes.
 - Experience with agile methodologies like SCRUM and DevOps practices.
 - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
