About the Role

This is a full-time, remote opportunity for a Senior Program Manager with a strong background in healthcare payer/TPA experience. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee strategic program and project implementations from start to finish, leading cross-functional teams and guiding stakeholders through decision-making processes. Your expertise will be crucial in driving process improvements, developing strategies that optimize ROI, and enhancing overall organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Planning and Execution: Plan, direct, and coordinate complex product/program implementations in the healthcare payer domain and/or third-party administration (TPA) of self-funded clients.
  • Scope and Objectives: Document scope, objectives, and ensure they align with expected business outcomes.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, including scheduling, resource tracking, and financials.
  • Process Improvements: Define and implement program/project management standards and processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish program governance and provide clear communication to all program stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks and dependencies.
  • Client Relationships: Work closely with clients, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to plan and develop project scope, resources, and timelines.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, delivering against business goals.
  • Internal Initiatives: Contribute to internal initiatives to drive efficiencies and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in business administration or a healthcare-related field is required.
  • Program/Project Management Experience: 8+ years of program/project management experience with a focus on client and product implementation.
  • Healthcare Payer Experience: 4+ years of experience in healthcare payer with business and IT solutions across domains for self-funded client implementation.
  • Leadership and Organizational Skills: Strong leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Payer Administration Knowledge: Working knowledge of payer administration with client implementation and product enablement.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Change Management: Strong working knowledge of change management principles.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and persuade customers, employees, and management at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Taft Hartley Labor Union Experience: Experience rolling out new products for Taft Hartley labor union clients is strongly preferred.
  • Stakeholder Management: Stakeholder management skills in large complex projects/programs with internal and external teams are preferred.
