About the Role

As a Tutor Center Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our learning centers, ensuring that all students receive exceptional instruction and support. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of instructors, develop and implement effective educational strategies, and build strong relationships with families and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Center Operations Management: Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery of our math education programs.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Screen, hire, train, and schedule employees to effectively provide individualized instruction in a group setting via in-center, online, and/or hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
  • Marketing and Sales: Market the Mathnasium program by building school and community relationships, conducting sales by promptly responding to leads, and successfully enrolling students.
  • Student Assessments and Progress Monitoring: Administer student assessments, identify learning gaps, and develop customized learning plans to ensure students achieve their academic goals.
  • Customer Service and Relations: Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress.
  • Center Performance Metrics: Monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success.
  • Digital Educational Materials and Processes: Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes to enhance the learning experience.
  • Safe and Professional Learning Environment: Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment that fosters academic excellence.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Passion for Math and Education: A genuine passion for math and working with students.
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities.
  • Math Competency: Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, including digital educational materials and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: Completed Bachelor's Degree, preferred in education, math, or a related field.
  • Management or Leadership Experience: Previous management or leadership experience, preferably in education or a related field.
  • Customer Relationships and Sales Experience: Previous customer relationships and sales experience.
