About the Role

As our ideal candidate, you'll be responsible for spearheading client management, platform management, and team leadership. This multifaceted role encompasses everything from client meetings and reporting to campaign optimization and team development. You'll be the driving force behind our clients' Google Ads success, leveraging your expertise to propel their ecommerce brands forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Own the entire client relationship, from initial onboarding to ongoing performance management and strategic discussions.
  • Platform Management: Oversee Google Ads campaigns, ensuring optimal performance, and troubleshoot errors to maximize ROI.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage a high-performing team of skilled media buyers, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to drive their growth.
  • Strategy Development: Implement blended strategies to achieve client KPIs, leveraging your expertise in Google Ads, ecommerce, and performance marketing.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and customize reporting to meet client needs, utilizing tools like Google Sheets and UTM tracking mechanisms.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional communication, and making clients feel heard and understood.

How You'll Make an Impact

This role will operate in two phases, allowing you to seamlessly transition into the position and make a lasting impact.

Phase 1: You'll begin by gaining an in-depth understanding of our clients, their strategies, and the current state of their Google Ads campaigns. Our founder will be available to provide guidance and support as you take the lead on client management. You'll own the client relationship, developing a deep understanding of their needs and goals.

Phase 2: Once you've successfully managed 4-6 clients independently, we'll begin building your team. You'll lead strategy development, client relationships, and team management, driving the success of our ecommerce brand clients and fostering a culture of excellence within our organization.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Google Ads Mastery: Proven experience in managing Google Ads for various ecommerce brands, with a deep understanding of campaign optimization, launch strategies, and error troubleshooting.
  • Agency Account Management: Experience managing ecommerce brand accounts within an agency setting, with a strong background in client calls, onboarding processes, and performance reporting.
  • Leadership: Previous experience managing teams, particularly in an agency environment, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Shopify Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Shopify, demonstrating a solid understanding of the platform and its capabilities.
  • Tracking and Analytics: Comprehensive understanding of tracking mechanisms, with proficiency in utilizing UTMs for effective tracking and analysis.
  • Google Sheets Proficiency: Basic foundational experience in Google Sheets, with the ability to manipulate and customize reporting to meet specific client needs.
