Blithequark is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst II to join our Information Adventures team. As a Data Analyst II, you will be at the forefront of data understanding and examination, playing a crucial role in interpreting customer behavior through our products. About Blithequark's Information Adventures
Information Adventures exists to unlock the full value of Blithequark's data by developing and productizing B2B data drives that empower dealers and providers to make better, quicker decisions for the business. As part of this transformation, we're looking for enterprising individuals to help drive data productization from concept to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and product partners to solve complex business problems and identify trends and opportunities
 - Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and presentation of data to see past the numbers and provide meaningful insights
 - Define and evaluate key performance metrics for new product launches
 - Develop data visualizations to monitor and evaluate the impact of product initiatives and unique business challenges
 - Identify new opportunities to improve key financial data insights, understand underlying drivers for change in metrics
 - Lead exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis
 - Collaborate with data stewards and data engineering teams to gather and process accurate data from various sources
 - Work effectively cross-functionally and communicate data and insights to non-technical stakeholders
 
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics)
 - Strong exploratory data analysis skills and ability to make logical, data-driven recommendations and solutions
 - Experience with languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets (SQL, Python, Presto, etc.)
 - Strong storytelling experience with data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
 - Experience with data quality tools like Google DataPlex, Collibra Data Quality, or SAS Data Management
 - Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca
 - Experience in building multi-step ETL jobs/data pipelines and working with workflow scheduling systems
 - Experience with processing complex data on cloud platforms (Ideally Google BigQuery and Hive)
 - Experience working on Data Modeling (E-R) and have solid BI concepts
 - Basic understanding of statistics and machine learning models
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the retail or finance industry sectors
 - Convincing, influential oral and written communication skills and ability to build effective relationships
 - Comfortable with changing needs in a fast-paced environment
 - Familiarity with tools and technologies like Prophet, Teradata, Hive, AWS Redshift, Azure Neurotransmitter Analysis, Snowflake, etc.
