Job Summary
The Senior Analyst – Supply Chain Systems and Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for the support and modifications of the Warehouse Management Framework, as well as acting as the local contact between the Data Center and Application Development departments. This role will require close collaboration with the Network/Telecom departments and the Technology Office to facilitate, analyze, and implement physical infrastructure that supports the Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, supply chain management, and data entry, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with MHE vendors as it relates to data handling and processing
- Work with all smart devices, including Sortation Control Systems
- Manage all data backups and data recovery procedures
- Act as a liaison between the warehouse office, WMS vendor, and MIS Department for issue resolution
- Support all data processing equipment, including printers and terminals
- Maintain LAN (Local) design and architecture
- Implement all future releases of software and updates
- Coordinate inventory tracking of in-stock supplies, including forms, labels, and other materials, and report usage to MIS
- Supervise non-exempt staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Maintain all control tables within the WMS, including access security
- Monitor the performance of the system application to ensure it is available and accessible to all end-users
- Manage the peripheral connections with the WMS, such as Neoware Terminals, RF Devices, and Printers
- Oversee and monitor end-user access and privileges, and report to the SOX Compliance Office on a quarterly basis
- Develop reporting tools for users to have better visibility into the WMS and Operational Metrics, using tools such as Crystal Reports or Cognos Report Studio
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT experience, including Windows, Unix, SQL Server, Oracle, and other relevant technologies
- 2+ years of experience in a distribution environment (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with using SQL, MS-Excel, Access, and MS-Word
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience (a plus)
- Strong relational and interpersonal skills
- Experience with data entry and supply chain management software and systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
