Key Responsibilities
- Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns, demonstrating empathy while building rapport with the customer.
- Clarify customer requirements, utilize decision-support tools, and resolve non-standard customer issues that require clarification or conceptual thinking.
- Address overdue bills, collect payments, and develop repayment plans while maintaining broad knowledge of client products and/or services.
- Prepare accurate work, including notating accounts as required, and be tenacious in tracking, documenting, and retrieving information in the call tracking database.
- Ensure service delivered meets contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and be comfortable with fraud prevention, collections, and transaction disputes.
Essential Qualifications
To excel as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you should possess:
- A High School Diploma and/or GED.
- A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
- Residency within a 25 to 30-mile radius of the blithequark Arnold, MO site.
- Strong PC knowledge and computer navigation skills.
- The ability to work rotational shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not mandatory, having the following skills and qualifications can enhance your candidacy:
- Previous experience in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in using customer service software and technology.
