About the Role
As a Pharmacy Manager with our inclusive community pharmacy, you will play a vital role in leading and motivating our pharmacy team to deliver outstanding patient care and services. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy, providing support and guidance to pharmacists, technicians, and dispensers, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the Pharmacy team to achieve exceptional patient care and service standards
 - Ensure the pharmacy service is organised and running smoothly, with efficient workflows and effective resource allocation
 - Provide support and assistance to pharmacists, technicians, and dispensers as needed, promoting a collaborative and inclusive team environment
 - Deliver excellent patient care, providing guidance and advice on medication and health-related matters
 - Handle errors and complaints effectively, maintaining high standards of patient safety and satisfaction
 - Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, service quality, and team performance
 - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote integrated care and improve patient experiences
 - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, attending training and development opportunities as required
 
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
 - MPharm, BPharm, or equivalent qualification
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
 - Proven post-qualification experience working in a pharmacy environment, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and management
 - Ability to work flexibly, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and services
 
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy management or leadership role, with a proven track record of success
 - Additional qualifications or certifications in pharmacy management, leadership, or a related field
 - Experience of working in a community pharmacy setting, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of this environment
 - Ability to speak multiple languages, reflecting the diversity of our patient population
