[Remote] Remote Interior Designers - USA
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Highbrow Technology Inc is recruiting Interior Designers for the Common Lives Project, a research program aimed at improving AI's understanding of creative and manual work through wearable GoPro footage. The role involves capturing daily design activities over a short-term paid project, requiring participants to record and review their design routines.
Responsibilities
• Wear a head-mounted GoPro camera to capture daily design activities for 5 separate days within a 2-week window
• Record at least 7 hours per day, with flexibility to pause for breaks and privacy
• At the end of each day, spend around 2 hours to:
• Upload your footage to a secure platform
• Review selected clips
• Decide whether to delete, anonymize, or consent to each segment
Skills
• Must work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or childcare)
• Must work in a private, self-contained studio, office, home, or indoor work environment
• Must have access to a computer and an internet connection
• Able to use web-based tools for upload/review (training will be provided)
• Must be self-employed or have employer consent to record in the work environment
• Comfortable using a computer for reviewing and uploading video clips
• No children (under 18) present or visiting during the recording period
• All adults in the space must be fluent English speakers and provide consent
• All colleagues/household members present must agree to appear in the footage
• If multiple participants share the workspace or household, all should wear a GoPro
• Commitment Required: 5 recording days within a 2-week window
• Engagement Type: Contractor / Freelance
• Duration: 2 weeks (plus setup and review time)
• Location: United States only
• Due to consent regulations, participants must NOT reside in the following states/provinces: Illinois, Texas, Washington, New York, Colorado, California, Oregon, Quebec, Kentucky, South Carolina
• Preferably engaged in creative design-related work (e.g., interior designer, decorator, space planner, furniture layout artist)
