About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative - Work From Home in Nevada, you'll interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, and provide education on various medications. Your primary focus will be on communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, working closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications. You'll also be responsible for numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies.

Key Responsibilities

* Interact with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, and provide education on various medications * Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients * Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications * Conduct adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies * Handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information * Utilize working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education * Identify and escalate complex issues to pharmacists or other relevant teams

Requirements and Qualifications

* 1+ year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone * 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application * Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required * Must reside in the state of Nevada * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in healthcare or pharmacy-related customer service * Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and developments * Certification in customer service or a related field
