About This Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Agent Services department at our corporate office in Duluth, Georgia. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of blithequark, providing top-notch service to our term life policyholders and agents. Key Responsibilities

  • Address verbal and written inquiries related to term life insurance policies, providing clear and concise responses to client queries.
  • Assist clients with billing, policy coverage, underwriting, and contract changes, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
  • Identify concerns, ask pertinent questions, and document all research findings thoroughly to ensure accurate issue resolution.
  • Perform corrections as needed and forward them to the appropriate parties for further processing or approval.
  • Recognize priority situations and understand when to notify relevant parties to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED; previous call center customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous insurance or financial services experience is a plus, but not necessary - we're committed to training the right candidate.
  • Excellent PC skills, with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, including those who may be irate.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain knowledge of blithequark's products and procedures.

  • A competitive salary range of $28,000-$32,000 based on experience.
  • A standard 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
