Job Overview

We are seeking experienced, certified, and passionate teachers to join our team as Intervention Teachers in West Florida. As an Intervention Teacher with Catapult Learning, you will have the chance to work with students in grades K-12, providing small group instruction in Reading and Math. Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct small groups of students in Reading/ELA and Math, focusing on intervention strategies to address skill deficits and promote academic success.
  • Deliver designated instructional models and utilize company-designed materials and educational strategies to support student learning.
  • Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans, ensuring that each student receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.
  • Supervise students at all times, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including tracking student attendance, progress, and communication with parents and classroom teachers.
  • Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences, fostering strong relationships with families and ensuring that students receive comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, adhering to company, local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Collaborate with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents to ensure that students receive cohesive and effective support.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or a related field.
  • A current FL Teaching Certificate or Statement of Eligibility.
  • Classroom teaching, internship, or tutoring experience, demonstrating your ability to engage and support students.
  • Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels, showcasing your versatility and commitment to student success.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • A genuine passion for helping students, driving your approach to education and inspiring you to make a positive impact.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with at-risk youth or students who are struggling, demonstrating your understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this context.
