• Plan and deliver engaging and structured classes, deciding which maneuvers to teach and review, and ensuring that all students receive equal instruction and attention.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliability, arriving on time for assigned classes and contributing to the setup of teaching aids and materials.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, ensuring that classes are fun, friendly, and organized, and that students remain active and engaged throughout.
• Supervise practice sessions, incorporating games and music to promote social skills and a love for ice skating.
• Communicate effectively with parents, discussing student progress, and keeping them informed about skating competitions, activities, and test sessions.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including payroll, class certificates, progress reports, and promoting the Pro Shop and ISI testing.
