Product Owner - Retail and ETL Required (Remote)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Define Team Product Backlog of User Stories including backlog prioritization, refinement, and creation of acceptance criteria.
• Make decisions around the team backlog with autonomy.
• Partner with the Product Manager to understand priorities and PI features.
• Drive Iteration Goals and content via prioritized user stories.
• Act as the Product Domain authority to guide and inform product enhancements and efficiencies.
• Ensure the technical integrity of the solution and accept User Stories and Iteration Increments.
• Conduct impact analysis for optimal product delivery and industry trends.
• Contribute to the Vision Roadmap and ROI, ensuring alignment of the team's backlog to the roadmap.
• Act as the Customer for Teams, liaising between the business and team.
• Identify and handle team risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with the System Architect to prioritize Enablers.
• Accountable for identifying risks, scope tradeoffs, and timeline impacts.
• Use metrics to assess team progress and areas for improvement.
• Leverage Agile processes such as Story and Value Stream Mapping and Estimating using Fibonacci scale.
• Support DevOps and Security standard processes.
• Prepare and produce the system demo, attending and participating in Release Train Ceremonies and Team Agile Ceremonies.
Requirements
• 10 to 13 years of experience in Data Warehouse and ETL.
• Proficient knowledge of SAFe principles, Kanban, and Scrum.
• Experience in business analysis within the retail sector.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Nice-to-haves
• SAFe PO/PM or SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
