Job Summary
We have immediate openings for Industrial Engineers and Process Engineers I-V to join our team, working on a range of projects related to automation, systems, facilities, and material handling engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for analyzing operational data, identifying performance improvement opportunities, and implementing technology systems that meet business objectives. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and work-life balance, with some travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Uses fundamental engineering concepts, practices, and procedures to analyze operational data/methods, identify performance improvement opportunities, and/or implement technology systems that meet business objectives.
- Supports specific material handling sortation systems, design specifications, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system integration for manual sort facilities.
- Analyzes vendor-supplied equipment and supports project installation and testing.
- Supports the development and design of sites, buildings, offices, material handling systems, and sortation equipment.
- Supports vendors on preventative maintenance efforts for material handling and manual sortation equipment.
- Plans, directs, controls, and implements the engineering, construction, and start-up of sortation facilities and material handling systems.
- Provides analysis, reporting tools, and engineering support for field operations to effectively control and/or justify operational costs.
- Analyzes data to support the tactical and strategic development of long-term network design and capacity planning for current and future facilities.
- Researches, designs, develops, deploys, and/or supports new and current technology solutions to improve performance and reduce operating costs with management guidance and support.
- Participates on cross-functional project teams responsible for implementing new technology.
- Provides analysis, and engineering support on key material handling system commodities that requires specific technical knowledge to procure for sortation facilities and material handling systems.
- Oversees security of all OT devices on the network, interfacing with IT, InfoSec, and Network Services on all OT Security initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Analyzes performance data within engineering, utilizing engineering tools and software to analyze data and answer basic engineering questions.
- Researches, analyzes, and effectively consolidates technical or engineering-related information and presents for management review.
- Prepares, with management guidance, accurate expenditure proposals and/or cost justification analysis.
- Formulates and presents document research, progress, and results to team members and internal customers.
- Applies project management fundamentals and concepts with management guidance, developing progress reports, meeting minutes, and field communication memos for management review.
- Participates in Control Self Monitoring (CSM) and/or Business Control Self-Assessment (BCSA) process within area of responsibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The minimum education requirement is a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical or quantitative degree (e.g., mathematics). Disciplines may be needed in the areas of automation and systems, facilities and material handling engineering, industrial engineering, operations research, planning and analysis, and operations technology security engineering.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical or quantitative degree (e.g., mathematics).
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
- Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
- Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.
- Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
- Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in automation and systems, facilities and material handling engineering, industrial engineering, operations research, planning and analysis, and operations technology security engineering.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary, with a pay range of $3,891.60/month to $13,571.58/month, depending on experience and location.
