As a leader in the industry, we are dedicated to advancing and supporting a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging. **Job Summary** As a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately reviewing, interpreting, and entering patient information into our computer system, including medication dosages, order processing, and payment verification. You will also communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure the accuracy of patient orders. Additionally, you will handle patient calls to arrange and manage new and reorder medication requests, which includes verifying and re-verifying benefits. **Key Responsibilities** - Accurately review, interpret, and enter patient information into our computer system - Verify medication dosages, order processing, and payment verification - Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure the accuracy of patient orders - Handle patient calls to arrange and manage new and reorder medication requests - Verify and re-verify patient benefits - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and medication orders - Collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve any issues or concerns related to patient orders - Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices **Required Qualifications** - Current AZ Pharmacy Technician License - At least 6 months of experience working in a pharmacy setting - At least 6 months of experience working with Windows-Based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications - Proficient keyboarding skills and ability to sit or stand for the length of the shift (8-10 hours) - Ability to use a computer and keyboard while performing the essential duties of this job **Preferred Qualifications** - At least 6 months of experience working as a pharmacy technician - At least 90 days of experience handling and resolving customer needs via telephone - Experience in healthcare, benefits, and insurance - Experience with clinical charging, coding, and other clinical support roles - Customer service experience in an office setting - At least 6 months of professional work experience, including inbound and outbound telephone customer care - Strong customer service skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in computer programs - Accurate and efficient data entry skills - Business acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced environment **Work Environment and Culture** At blithequark, we are committed to creating a work environment that is inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
