About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with hundreds of customers each week to resolve support issues, sell new products and services, and ensure best-in-class customer experiences. You'll be responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and assisting customers with adding or removing products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade customers to new products and services
- Explain and position products and processes with customers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our offerings
- Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction to the managerial team, ensuring prompt resolution
- Ensure first-call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling, minimizing the need for follow-up interactions
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of Windows operating system
- Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
- An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
- A customer service-oriented mindset (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
- The ability to multitask, stay focused, and self-manage in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team orientation and customer focus
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge:
- Previous customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
- Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals
