Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Outbound Call Center team as a Customer Care Representative II. In this role, you'll be responsible for making outbound calls and responding to customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits and pharmacy delivery. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Representative II, you'll have the following key responsibilities:
  • Initiate outbound calls to internal and external customers to provide assistance regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility, and claims.
  • Analyze problems and provide information/solutions to customers.
  • Operate a PC/image station to obtain and extract information, document information, activities, and changes in the database.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Research and analyze data to address operational challenges and customer service issues.
  • Provide external and internal customers with requested information, demonstrating proficiency in all basic customer service functions.
  • Receive and place follow-up telephone calls/e-mails to answer customer questions.
  • Seek, understand, and respond to the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Conduct outbound calls in the ZipDrug business area.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an automated customer service environment.
  • Any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications and skills will make you a strong candidate for this role:
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a URAC-accredited area.
