[Remote] Vulnerability Analyst (Cyber Security Analyst)
                                Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sterling Engineering is hiring a Vulnerability Analyst to support a National Laboratory’s Cyber Security Program Office. This fully remote role focuses on identifying and mitigating system vulnerabilities across cloud, container, and enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
• Run vulnerability scans (Tenable, Nessus, Qualys)
• Prioritize and track remediation efforts
• Collaborate with IT teams on mitigation strategies
• Automate tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Generate reports and participate in virtual team meetings
Skills
• 3+ years in cybersecurity or vulnerability analysis
• Strong scripting and OS/networking knowledge
• Familiarity with NIST frameworks and security tools
• U.S. citizenship required
• CISSP
• CEH
• Security+
• OSCP
