About the Role
As an Alternative Investments Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of client transactions, reconciliations, and corporate actions processing. You will be responsible for processing exchange trade transactions, identifying and resolving breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and performing research on complex/escalated issues. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process exchange trade transactions in client accounts and identify/address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
 - Reconcile transactions activity, dividend activity, and corporate actions for Alternative Investments
 - Research complex/escalated issues and provide solutions to resolve breaks or discrepancies
 - Perform testing/validation of new technology enhancements and vendor changes
 - Review and analyze registration agreements or transaction requests for Client/Advisor level exceptions
 - Ensure compliance with regulatory responsibilities, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
 - Reconcile across BOS and Fund Company, and analyze and interpret tax coding and corrections
 - Provide timely and accurate completion of customer trading and dividend requests
 - Collaborate with internal teams, including Retail and Institutional Service Teams, and external partners, such as fund companies and transfer agents
 
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in a data entry or reconciliation role, preferably in the financial services industry
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research complex issues and provide solutions
 - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
 - Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience with Alternative Investments, such as mutual funds, ETFs, or variable annuities
 - Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
 - Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel or Tableau
 - Certifications, such as Series 7 or Series 66, are a plus
