About the Role

As Director, Technical Project Management, you will be responsible for driving key programs within Nike's Global Technology portfolio. You will lead diverse cross-functional teams to execute complex and strategic programs, building program management functions and overseeing end-to-end execution across multiple parallel program work streams. Your expertise in technical project management, risk management, and stakeholder communication will be crucial in delivering technology programs on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple complex programs simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Build and develop program management functions, including risk management, issue/conflict resolution, and dependency management.
  • Assess product specifications and coordinate teams and resources needed to execute those specifications.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution and development of technology programs, engaging key business and technology portfolio partners to ensure opportunities, risks, and issues are understood and addressed.
  • Create and develop product dashboards, portfolio reporting, and analysis activities to inform stakeholders and drive business decisions.
  • Partner with senior and executive-level internal partners to cultivate collaboration, strategic alignment, and integrated planning and execution across all functions.
  • Coordinate with other Technology teams on dependencies across the portfolio, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering, and at least 2 years of experience in technical project management or a related occupation. Your experience should include:

  • Agile methodologies and scaled agile frameworks.
  • Technical project management, including software development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Portfolio management of software systems and complex risk management.
  • Executive stakeholder communication and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, Figma).
  • API development and integration.
  • Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

Preferred qualifications include experience working in a global technology organization, with a proven track record of delivering complex programs and managing cross-functional teams.
