Key Responsibilities

As a Class A delivery driver, you'll be responsible for the safe operation of our company equipment and timely delivery of our products to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Safely and professionally operating a commercial motor vehicle, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Using Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet jacks and/or hand trucks to load and unload products.
• Maneuvering vehicles and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles, requiring a high level of spatial awareness and dexterity.
• Unloading and delivering products to our customers using various methodologies, including manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments.
• Providing exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel, ensuring a positive experience and building strong relationships.
• Completing delivery and pickup paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Picking up returned products as required, following company protocols for handling and processing returns.
• Collecting company assets, including payments, carts, pallets, etc., and ensuring their safe return to our facilities.
• Completing pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles, identifying any issues or concerns and reporting them to management.
• Completing company training and certifications as required, staying up-to-date with the latest regulations, technologies, and best practices.
• Effectively communicating and maintaining contact with shift supervisors, dispatch, and co-workers, ensuring seamless coordination and teamwork.
• Undertaking other projects or duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed as a Class A delivery driver with our company, you'll need:

• A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a good driving record.
• Experience operating a commercial motor vehicle, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, including those related to hazardous materials transportation.
• Familiarity with Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as electric pallet jacks and/or hand trucks.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or training in a related field is a plus.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience in the beverage or logistics industry.

• A clean driving record and a history of safe driving practices.
