As a Business & Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business intelligence capabilities, working closely with stakeholders across multiple product lines to gather requirements, develop reports, and analyze data to inform business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently work with all levels of management and across multiple product lines to determine reporting/project requirements and resolve technical issues with reporting tools and functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, gather, and document business requirements for reporting deliverables and processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business and data requirements, functional reporting specifications, use cases, and process flows to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and reporting development teams.
• Utilize data analysis techniques and tools to analyze gathered data requirements, identifying patterns, trends, and inconsistencies that inform business decisions.
• Manage and maintain the Data Dictionary for Snowflake, ensuring it remains up-to-date with new fields and changes introduced from system projects.
• Identify business problems, challenges, and opportunities through data analysis in Snowflake, documenting and reporting findings in Jira tickets to propose innovative solutions or process improvements.
• Collect, structure, interpret, and extract complex data into actionable insights using SQL skills, driving business growth and improvement.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a Business or technical discipline, or commensurate work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to extract data from system application data tables.
• Knowledge of Snowflake is preferred, but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Share Point).
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Microsoft Sql Server Management Studio, Datadog, Snowflake).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to various stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, with flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Financial industry experience, which will be considered an added advantage.
• A strong understanding of business operations and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
