Job Summary

The Customer Experience Concierge will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences to our premium card members at the American Express Centurion Lounge located in the IAH Airport. As a key member of our team, you'll be the ambassador of our brand, providing personalized support and guidance to help our customers achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and checking in our card members upon arrival at the lounge
  • Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for our card members
  • Identifying and addressing customer needs and concerns, providing creative solutions to resolve issues and build brand loyalty
  • Utilizing the Customer First mindset to address customer needs and expectations
  • Providing travel and lifestyle recommendations, as well as making reservations and arrangements as needed
  • Collaborating with our food and beverage partners to meet the needs of our card members

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a luxury or high-end environment
  • Experience in a reservation or travel industry setting is a plus
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service, with a focus on proactive problem-solving and creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a luxury or high-end environment, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Knowledge of travel and lifestyle industry trends and best practices
  • Experience with technology, including web-based platforms and tools
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed
