About the Opportunity
This is a temp-to-hire position, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a global healthcare leader and grow with the company. You'll be working in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional customer service and support to hospitals and healthcare professionals. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming customer issues and resolve them using smart customer-focused decision-making skills.
- Act as a liaison between the warehouse, office, and customer to research, resolve, and track customer issues regarding service failure, product returns, incorrect shipments, etc.
- Follow up on all outstanding tasks to ensure completion and provide updates to customers as needed.
- Anticipate and mitigate any issues before they negatively impact the customer experience.
- Assist hospitals with product conversions and special reporting needs.
- Respond quickly and professionally to customer telephone questions and concerns.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to practice proper phone and email etiquette.
- Previous customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to customers.
- Comfortable sitting in front of a computer for the majority of your shift.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to train in Salesforce.
- Basic skills with a moderate level of proficiency, and the ability to consult with senior peers on non-complex projects.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous:
- Experience working in the healthcare industry or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Previous experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment.
