About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the trusted advocate for our Medicare members, providing compassionate, innovative, and proactive support to address their needs and concerns. Key Responsibilities

  • Educate plan benefits, answer questions, and resolve issues based on incoming telephone member contacts, ensuring that every member receives respectful, kind, and thorough support.
  • Utilize compliant documentation standards to ensure accurate and efficient issue resolution.
  • Provide empathetic and member-centric service, exceeding our members' expectations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Demonstrate adaptability, patience, and understanding when interacting with members, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry developments, and company policies to provide informed and effective support.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to be empathetic and compassionate when interacting with members and colleagues.
  • Ability to apply patience and understanding in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changing priorities, situations, and technologies.
  • Basic computer, typing, and telephony skills, or equivalent military experience.
  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

  • Customer Service experience, particularly in a healthcare or insurance setting.
  • Previous experience working with Medicare or retiree populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A pay range of $17.00 to $27.16 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • A $1000 sign-on bonus, plus an additional $2000 retention bonus after 180 days of employment.
