Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Associate Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations to join our team in the New Verticals department. As an Associate Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and driving the go-to-market strategy for US Pre-Sales, focusing on acquiring new merchants in non-restaurant categories. You'll work closely with our sales, partner management, operations, product, and analytics teams to build a strong merchant foundation and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance sales productivity and drive revenue growth by targeting and closing high-value partnerships at scale.
  • Build and drive the future of US Pre-Sales New Verticals Acquisition by developing go-to-market playbooks, revenue optimization strategies, and process redesigns.
  • Implement efficient improvements to optimize business impact and drive tactical day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, GM, Product, Engineering, and Operations, to scale business impact and achieve shared goals.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to ensure teams are working against the right goals and have the tools needed to achieve them.
  • Manage external B2B partnerships and develop strong relationships with merchants and partners.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, banking, analytics, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Strong cross-functional business experience, project management, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable solving ambiguous problems and working with large data sets within Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Experience managing external B2B partnerships and developing strong relationships with merchants and partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales strategy and operations or a related field.
  • Familiarity with DoorDash's products and services or similar industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven insights.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • Base salary ranging from $93,800 to $138,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
  • Opportunities for equity grants and stock options.
