Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for modeling and conveying a unique and magnificent client experience. Your primary duties will include:

  • Registering sales on designated sales registers and providing clients with respectful, fair, agreeable, and efficient checkout service.
  • Engaging clients and patients by greeting them and offering help with products and services, resolving customer issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Modeling and offering customer support best practices with all colleagues to deliver an unmistakable and brilliant client experience, including relational habits (e.g., greeting, eye-to-eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service values.
  • Recommending items for sale to clients and suggesting upsell as well as companion items.
  • Maintaining counters and sales floors clean and well-merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records.
  • Implementing Organization resource protection methods to identify and minimize profit loss.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items.
  • Developing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super designs, and sale stock, and completing resets and updates as directed.
  • Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as determined by policies/procedures.
  • Providing client assistance in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, banner print, and creative machine, and selling of special photo items.
  • Taking on web pick obligations, screening orders, picking items, and delivering orders to clients as they arrive at the store.
  • Assisting with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and deliberate store environment and appearance.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
