Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for creating and applying advanced statistical models and data science techniques to enhance ancillary revenue performance. As a crucial member of the revenue management team, you will own the development of new analytical products and models, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve rapid growth in customer-driven, personalized offers and business processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deliver advanced quantitative analyses and multi-feature models to drive navigation and actions
  • Leverage large datasets, cloud-based technologies, and multiple sources of data to identify signals and integrate them into modeling for interpretation, prediction, or production
  • Lead in fulfilling other general analysis requirements, including exploratory data analysis (EDA) to gain insights into customer shopping behaviors and responses to Frontier's offers
  • Develop modeling hypotheses using multivariate statistical approaches and current machine learning-based expressive methodologies
  • Lead the implementation and industrialization of developed models in the production system, including all stages of the code lifecycle
  • Interpret the results of quantitative analysis and multi-feature models and communicate them to stakeholders, including senior management
  • Work primarily in Python, MS SQL, and other large data environments, providing expertise in coding and applied economics across Pricing, Revenue Management, and Ancillary teams
  • Create and deploy customer-driven analysis, using cluster analysis, collaborative filtering, and randomized flexibility testing
  • Maintain code standards, code libraries, and workflows where industrialized processes are essential
  • Participate in peer reviews of analytical designs and code to advance revenue growth
  • Assist, mentor, and guide junior colleagues, aiding in their professional development and growth
  • Aid in the transition to streaming data for multiple sources

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or other systematically focused programs is preferred. Additionally, you should have experience with MS SQL, Python, and other large data technologies, as well as past professional use of statistical analysis software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of professional data analysis experience
  • Experience in airline pricing, yield or revenue management, revenue analysis, revenue systems, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data science techniques
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail for reporting and analysis
