Job Summary
As a Sales Associate at our AllModern retail location, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier customer experiences, driving sales growth, and promoting the Wayfair brand. You will work closely with our customers to understand their design needs, provide product recommendations, and showcase our extensive range of home decor products. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer experiences, guiding customers through their inquiries on product features, functionality, style, and product integration.
- Lead customers through the in-store experience, showcasing our products and providing design advice.
- Present our online platform and mobile app capabilities, highlighting the benefits of shopping with Wayfair.
- Utilize your sales and brand knowledge to navigate customers through their design needs and purchases.
- Assist walk-ins on the sales floor and in the design studio as needed.
- Develop and showcase design options using preferred design tools, such as mood boards and 2D floor plans.
- Navigate various software applications, third-party and proprietary tools, to provide customers with suggestions for their budget, style, and space.
- Ask insightful questions to provide total sales solutions for customers.
- Demonstrate confidence in closing deals and educating customers on different purchasing options, including POS, online, our app, or through a quote.
- Be an expert in the services offered, including credit, financing, warranty, installation, and delivery.
- Participate in all functional aspects of the store, including processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, and general store maintenance.
- Epitomize a positive and professional demeanor at all times with customers and colleagues.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience.
- Strong communication, self-motivation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Technical proficiency to learn necessary software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the home decor or design industry.
- Knowledge of design principles and trends.
- Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD or SketchUp.
