Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data within our systems, ensuring that information is up-to-date and easily accessible. This role requires proficiency in various computer applications, strong typing skills, and the ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Input and update data in databases and ERP systems with precision.
• Perform data entry tasks including order entry, transcription, and data collection.
• Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables and manage data effectively.
• Ensure accuracy in data entry by conducting regular audits of entered information.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed, including clerical support and office tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve data management practices.
Experience
• Proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with databases, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Previous office experience or clerical experience is preferred.
• Basic math skills are necessary for handling numerical data effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
