Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Account Manager - E-commerce Growth Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing high-value debts that bring new products, competitive pricing, and convenience to our customers. Your primary objective will be to identify product selection gaps and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies to attract key marketplace players to join our e-commerce platform and maximize our products' selection facet and customer base.
Main Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and GTM Strategy Execution: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global developments/activities, and continuously monitor competitor efforts.
- Seller Acquisition and Onboarding: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
- Seller Enablement and Support: Guide sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery, customer satisfaction, and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management and Conflict Resolution: Collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve vendor issues.
Primary Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is required.
- Sales Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience in a fast-paced business environment, preferably in the e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or consumer electronics industries.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to exceed sales objectives using a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
- Product Promotion and Market Expansion: Enjoy promoting nascent products/offers into new markets.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Advanced communication and presentation skills, a robust working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
- Commercial Acumen and Analytical Skills: Remarkable commercial business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, advanced analytical skills, and quantitative abilities.
- Complex Data Analysis and Negotiation: Ability to work with complex financial data, polished communication skills, and the ability to negotiate and persuade.
- Leadership and Prioritization: Ability to think and lead in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, comfortable with "hands-on" management of responsibilities, and demonstrated potential to manage multiple, competing priorities concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- E-commerce Experience: 2+ years of experience in e-commerce is a plus.
- Consumer Electronics Experience: 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics industry is a plus.
- Direct Sales Experience: 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
