Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at TridentCare, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing customer orders via telephone in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Ensuring all customer requests are handled to their satisfaction, providing a positive experience.
  • Processing customer orders in accordance with established company standards and procedures.
  • Displaying active listening and superior customer service skills for both external and internal customers.
  • Documenting activity in our DDF system and checking for report results to call back to customers.
  • Entering orders manually via our fax process and operating the phone system effectively.
  • Adhering to your work schedule and being flexible to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Handling an average of 110 customer interactions per eight-hour shift after four months in the position.
  • Solving routine and complex problems, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
  • Providing prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customers.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required; some medical terminology experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills, solid communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer knowledge, including intermediate computer skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • A typing speed of 35-40 words per minute.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • High-speed internet for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Some knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • A High School Diploma or better.
