About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Data & AI sales efforts in the Health and Public Sector. This is a remote opportunity that offers an immediate start for the right candidate. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for shaping, selling, and closing large deals that are single or multi-service. You will lead opportunities from qualification to deal close using deep sales process skills and expertise in Accenture's offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape, sell, and close large deals that are single or multi-service
  • Lead opportunities from qualification to deal close using deep sales process skills and expertise in Accenture's offerings
  • Originate opportunities in addition to qualification, shaping, selling, negotiating, and closing
  • Interact with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture, determining pursuit strategies, developing client messaging plans, and relationships
  • Apply industry-leading transformation strategies and practices to drive growth and innovation
  • Operate within large teams and direct specific team sales activities
  • Travel may be required for this role, with varying amounts of travel depending on business need and client requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Data & AI sales, with specific expertise in working with healthcare providers and payors
  • Minimum of 8 years' Sales Pursuit Management experience in large-scale, high-value deals and driving transformation projects
  • Minimum of 5 years selling/closing deals in the professional services space, focusing on Public Health, Public Service, or Education clients
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience originating and capturing complex multi-tower service deals, preferably in value greater than $20M
  • Strong understanding of AI, Generative AI, and data-driven trends in the healthcare industry
  • Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle (customer identification, outreach, proposal creation, contract negotiations, closing, metrics reporting)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
