Job Summary

We're offering a unique opportunity for a skilled and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in Redwood City, CA. As a Special Education Teacher with The Stepping Stones Group, you'll work in a full-time, school-based position, providing tailored support and instruction to students with special needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs and goals of each student
  • Provide high-quality instruction and support to students with special needs, using evidence-based practices and strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to student support
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a teaching program
  • Current license as a Special Education Teacher in CA
  • Strong understanding of special education principles, practices, and laws

Preferred Qualifications:

  • School experience, preferably in a special education setting
