We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Supervisor to lead our ICU Step Down Unit (PCU) at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of nurses in the ICU Step Down Unit (PCU) to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to nurses in the unit, promoting professional growth and development
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and unit operations
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions

Essential Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum of one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing
  • One to three years supervisory experience preferred
  • BLS (current upon hire)
  • Current South Carolina or qualifying compact state nursing license
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or specialty course completion in required specialty

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ICU or PCU settings
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
