Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, trash removal, and sanitizing patient and staff areas
  • Performing general maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and filters
  • Supplying paper products and soap
  • Providing direct customer service to members of the campus and community
  • Training and overseeing other custodial workers
  • Managing inventory control and requesting or stocking supplies
  • Reporting or requesting repairs to facilities and equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment, such as cleaning machinery, office equipment, and vehicles
  • Building and maintaining a work atmosphere of trust and respect among team members

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one (1) to three (3) years of directly related cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain a safe work environment
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects, as well as work in a variety of positions and environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures, as well as safety protocols
  • Experience working in a healthcare or educational setting

Skills and Competencies:
