Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to teach graduate-level marketing courses in a 9-week term. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for teaching courses on situational analysis, marketing strategy and decision-making, quantitative analysis, and more. You will use simulations and case studies to teach effective problem-solving skills and provide regular feedback and guidance to students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach graduate-level marketing courses in a 9-week term, once per week for four hours
- Conduct classes on topics such as situational analysis, marketing strategy and decision-making, quantitative analysis, and more
- Use simulations and case studies to teach effective problem-solving skills
- Develop and grade student assignments and assessments
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to students
- Engage in professional development activities related to marketing and stay current with industry trends and technologies
- Teach in multiple modalities (distance online, remote, and on-ground) as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of a master's degree in marketing, business, and/or related area
- At least five years of management experience in marketing
- Proficiency using the Socratic method of instruction
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- A related terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D. in Marketing)
- Experience in teaching marketing at the graduate level
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness
