About the Company and Role

As a College Co-op Software Engineer, you'll be working on exciting projects that drive the company's IT transformation. You'll have the opportunity to work on various Software Engineering Portfolio groups, including Software Performance & Reliability Engineering, Omnichannel Technology, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative software solutions that enhance Delta's IT infrastructure.
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
- Work on projects that align with your skills and interests, with guidance from experienced mentors.
- Contribute to the improvement of software development processes and best practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
Essential Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate university student with a 2.5 GPA or higher.
- Completed at least 2 years of a university program in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Software Development, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong analytical, management, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for two rotational semesters (Spring 2024 and Fall 2024).
- Comfortable with a hybrid work schedule, with some onsite and remote work.
- Interest in working on emerging technologies, such as cloud computing, Software Dev Lifecycles, and PC hardware.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to communicate insights effectively.
- Knowledge of management strategies and best practices in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Passion for working on technologies like Mobile apps, Enterprise Web apps, APIs, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
