Job Overview: Sr. Customer Solutions Manager, Customer Solutions Management

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sr. Customer Solutions Manager to join our team, responsible for guiding AWS customers along their multi-year journey to the cloud. As a critical partner to our most strategic Independent Software Vendor (ISV) customers, you will leverage your expertise in large-scale cloud transformations, helping them navigate the stages of AWS adoption and ensuring they are set up for success. Your strong technical background, combined with your proficiency in understanding and solving complex business problems, will enable you to drive collaboration between AWS teams, customer teams, and product/engineering teams, planning and supporting major workload migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of customer cloud transformation strategies, ensuring alignment with AWS account plans and executable actions
  • Interface with customer and AWS senior leadership, driving collaboration between core account groups, product/engineering teams, and customer teams
  • Translate strategic objectives from customers into AWS account plans and executable actions, managing cadence and leading program management functions
  • Build enablement plans, run design thinking innovation workshops, innovation hackathons, Executive Briefing Sessions, and go-live events to drive customer success
  • Evaluate and prioritize customer needs, developing and implementing solutions that meet their business objectives and drive cloud adoption
  • Evangelize AWS services, influencing customers to adopt them and driving innovation through new ideas, tools, and mechanisms
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer executives, technologists, and partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion experience
  • 5+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience
  • Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects or similar
  • Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
  • Experience working at or consulting for a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience transforming a software company from a traditional software license business model to a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model
  • Strong understanding of the principles of Software as a Service (SaaS) best practices and the journey ISVs take transitioning from traditional software delivery to the SaaS business model
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS services, and a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures
