About the Job

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team as a Data Entry Remote Job for IT Infrastructure Management. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational sustainability of our IT infrastructure, which supports our airport communication spaces for Delta's IT Offices Group. This is a full-time remote position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $27/hour.

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing IT administration of expert services, project management, and support to ensure the operational sustainability of our IT infrastructure.
  • Managing IT administration of all site executions, inventories, system planning, and maintenance for server farm basic infrastructure, IT accreditation labs, and remote communication room basic climate gear.
  • Providing IT support for IT labs to align our client application and design teams with workstations, equipment, and access to test their applications.
  • Coordinating remotely with professional services responsible for basic framework maintenance and break-fix exercises at remote communication rooms.
  • Managing, operating, maintaining, and monitoring all basic offices infrastructure for server farm and remote communication room gear.
  • Developing server farm and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.
  • Suggesting and implementing departmental policies, rules, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all governing corporate policies and regulations.
  • Managing project management of server farm and remote communication room guidelines capital upgrades, updates, and improvements.
  • Determining IT and basic offices services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for items and services, and ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations.
  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and vendor support of the proper electrical power, A/C, fire suppression, security, floor support, and cabling programs for communication rooms.
  • Providing proactive and break-fix support for alert/ticket remediation related to offices, remote communication rooms, lab, and server farm gear.
  • Maintaining the operational sustainability of airport basic climate framework.
  • Developing Plan Guidelines for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, central air, Generators, and Fire Life and Security (FLS) systems.
  • Coordinating remotely with airport basic framework maintenance and break-fix exercises.
  • Surveying/Store Support Records. Ensuring discrepancies are remediated.
  • Providing remote Incident Management goals to airport basic hardware.
  • Providing remote installation, setup, and operational support.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to change control exercises.
  • Balancing multiple needs within established time limitations.
  • Adapting to help an activity with varying shifts, extended hours, and availability to work requirements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Constructs and maintains viable communication and relationships with supervisory crew, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of server farm technology and basic offices infrastructure.
  • Project management of remote communication room norms capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.
  • Capital estimating and project management for airport basic hardware life cycle substitution.
  • Support Corporate Land projects that relate to remote communication room design/onsite appraisal reporting as an IT Offices delegate.
  • Space, UPS Power, and basic cooling limit management.
  • Determination of basic offices services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for items and services, and ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations.

What Will Give You an Upper Hand

While a Bachelor's degree is required, we prefer candidates with:
  • IT project management experience (at least 3 years) within a high-availability communication room or server farm operating environment, daily operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment.
