Director of Sales - IT Professional Services (Healthcare Market)

We’re looking for a Director of Sales who can deeply understand our unique value proposition, take that story to the market and grow our Healthcare segment.  This is a hands-on role; from generating leads to building and maintaining client relationships, you’ll drive the sales journey from beginning to end.The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated track record of success in building and retaining client accounts, alongside being relationship-driven, demonstrating technical aptitude, self-motivation, and the ability to close opportunities.
Summary
- Drive the strategy and execution of new sales and business development
 - Be versatile and resourceful in meeting sales goals and seeking out solutions to new sales and lead generation challenges
 - Lead and facilitate team ideation and oversee execution of various tasks in addition to being hands-on.
 - Develop a thorough understanding of X by 2 services through independent study, past project reviews and on-the-job training
 - Create artifacts, presentations and work closely with X by 2's marketing department to create sales materials that connect X by 2's services with prospective client needs
 - Effectively coordinate with internal teams and adapt to different work styles
 - Leverage network and relationships to create sales opportunities
 
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years specifically in the healthcare industry
 - Experiential knowledge or working technical knowledge —ability to understand technology and describe its uses/applications specifically within the Healthcare industry and domain.
 - Experience selling IT professional services (strategy, architecture, program management, implementation) required
 - Relevant network/connections within the Healthcare market required, specifically with IT executives within Healthcare Payors, Providers, and Solution Providers.
 - Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle process from prospecting to closing
 - Experience independently developing and executing innovative strategies for new sales lead generation
 - Experience with Salesforce or related sales software
 - Proven experience developing and executing cohesive sales strategies and growing client base/ sales territory
 - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
 - Self-starter with ability to work independently and execute prospecting plan autonomously
 - Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, computer science or other technical discipline

- Required location for this position is in the EST or CST time zone.

 - Base Salary: $140K - $160K + Performance Bonus
